Thrilling Adventures in Rhyme and Space

I’ve been married 6 months now. 6 Months living in a foreign country, with a new family and a wonderful woman.

I can’t say I feel totally at home yet, I occasionally feel a bit homesick, but I’ve been welcomed warmly by everyone.

I’m getting bored of the snow (never thought I’d say that!) mainly because I don’t get to walk home so often because of the cold. I enjoy walking home through downtown Osijek and is a very pleasant hour or so.

I tried doing some recording for my Freecore project, but the soundcard we have is a nasty, noisy onboard thing. I’ll need a new one, maybe USB or Firewire for at least the recording part.

The internet radio station is running on a new server build, I’m using Liquidsoap to play a random playlist with jingles, a clock on the hour and a mechanism for playing commercials via a cron job. I’ll write it up at some point when I have time.
